DAY 1 – DAILY
Depart from Johannesburg International airport at 13h50 arriving at 19h25, via Dar es Salaam. Met on arrival and transferred to the north east coast, where you’ll spend 7 nights at Blue Bay Beach resort on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

BLUE BAY BEACH RESORT – NORTH EAST COAST

Blue Bay Beach Resort is situated on one of the finest, wide, white, sandy beaches on the island of Zanzibar.  Located on the east coast in an area known as Kiwengwa, the hotel is only 45 minutes drive from the town and the airport.  The hotel has beautifully furnished bedroom cottages located on rising ground overlooking verdant gardens, the public areas, the pool, more than 1 000 beautiful palm trees and the sparkling white beach.  All 88 rooms (6 Garden view, 74 Superior sea view and 8 Suites) have four poster beds with mosquito netting, en suite bathroom, air conditioners, ceiling fans, satellite television, minibar, hairdryers and telephones.  The hotel provides a wellness spa, fitness centre featuring a range of modern equipment, a floodlit tennis court, 5 star PADI scuba diving centre and a watersports centre with windsurfers, canoes and sailing boats.   Prices include free windsurfing, tennis and use of the fitness centre.

DAY 8 – DAILY

Transfer this morning from Blue Bay to the airport to depart on your flight to Johannesburg departing at 09h20 arriving at 13h10. Remember the US$ 30.00 is not included in the package this has to be paid direct on departure.

Health requirements - Yellow Fever inoculations are necessary (this must be done no later than 10 days prior to departure).  Anti-malaria tablets are also necessary.  Please enquire for details of travel clinics operating in your area.

Visas - Should you be travelling on a South African passport you will need a visa for Tanzania.  This takes approximately 3 working days and can be done at the Tanzania High Commission, 822 George Avenue, Arcadia, Pretoria, Tel: (012) 342-4393.  We can arrange these for you or they can be done direct.  You will need a valid Passport (your passport must have at least 3 blank pages), 1 passport photograph and 1 completed form.  Other nationalities please check with our office or the Tanzania High Commission.  It is also possible to obtain a visa on arrival.

Travel Insurance - We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance for the duration of your holiday.  Please contact us for further details.

Please carefully note the visa, health and travel insurance requirements. The
attached estimate may have varied since its original preparation (which
could have been several months ago) due to increases, changes to airline
taxes, rate of exchange, etc - if you are keen to take this enquiry further,
we will happily detail an accurate quote for you.

Once you have decided to make a booking we require a fully completed and
signed booking form for all passengers (with full names correctly spelt as
per passport), contact numbers, date of travel etc. Please fax it back
marked for my attention for processing. Upon confirmation of the booking we
require a 20% deposit on the land arrangement portion of your reservation as
well as full prepayment for any air tickets, with the balance being due 6
weeks prior to departure.

Please note that quotes in Rand are subject to change due to currency
fluctuations or any unforeseen circumstance. The balance due on a
particular booking may need to be recalculated should there be any increases
beyond our control (eg exchange rate fluctuations or airfare increases).
